look: oops, sorry, wrong window.

look: This looks pretty good

danbri: I've just updated this to show a [screenshothttp://ilrt.org/discovery/2000/08/bized-meta/] of Mozilla's LINK support (v0.9.5) in the 3rd toolbar. It uses HTML LINK not RDF, but still promising...

danbri: ...is out. see wiley's pages for table of contents. XUL is Mozilla's way of rendering RDF into a UI.
danbri: Ooops, that should have been .com not .org; apologies.

danbri: Includes a new Site Navigation Bar for navigating sites that use the LINK element, and an experimental Tabbed Browsing feature
danbri: Also includes a Javascript debugger see screenshot
danbri: The link based navigation think sounds like a feature that could be hacked to grok RDF. Can't see any screenshots / info anywhere though. Downloading...

danbri: The original, ie pre-RDFCore spec, translated into French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish. Plus RDF Schema in Japanese and Spanish.
danbri: I've not looked at any of these. Wonder how these fit in with the RDF Core work. Maybe bits could be extracted for primer material?

chaals: Translating it into Spanish, and updating it as I go...
chaals: ...which should lead to an updated version in English in a but.
chaals: uses SVG namespace-mixed into XHTML

danbri: OK, so I used powerpoint. Sue me ;-)
danbri: Needs tidying up, but I've been meaning to do that for monrths and haven't, so here's the raw material. Also the ppt export to HTML was done on a tiny screensize so its illegible.
danbri: My view of SW in a nutshell: walk before we run
danbri: Bits of this are nicked from my older understanding RDF talk in '99. Back then, we mainly had Mozilla to point to as an RDF app. Things have changed :)
danbri: Here's an incomplete writeup of the semantic web in context talk, based on the slides and my notes.

danbri: A discussion with Pat on www-rdf-rules prompted me to start to write down (possibly for the first time) what I think RDF is, as a project, acronym, document format.
danbri: I'd be interested in feedback from other RDF/SW hackers. Is the story I sketched one that fits with your own understanding of what we're all up to here?
